On Thursday, the European U23 Athletics Championships began in Bergen. On the first day, 11 Lithuanian athletes fought for tickets to the next stages. Unfortunately, none of them succeeded.<\/p>\n

100 m qualification runs (3Q+4q made it to the semi-finals). Ema Rup\u0161yt\u0117<\/strong> finished fourth in the third run (11.70\/-1.0), Andr\u0117 O\u017eechauskait\u0117<\/strong> in the second run – seventh (12.13\/-0.5). Emma’s result in the qualification was 18th, Andr\u0117’s – 26th, they failed to make it to the semi-finals. Results.<\/a>
\n100 m qualification runs. Adas Dambrauskas<\/strong> did not start due to injury.
\nPole jumping. Nikodemas Laurynas<\/strong> took 21st place in the qualification and did not make it to the final competition – 5.00 m (5.00\/1, 5.15\/xxx). Results.<\/a>
\nIn the 400 m fourth qualifying run, Lukas Sutkus’ <\/strong>result was eighth (47.28), he took 24th place in the championship. Results.<\/a>
\nEma Sarafinait\u0117 <\/strong>took sixth place in the second 400 m qualification run (54.73), she was 21st in the overall standings. Results<\/a>
\nin the 100 m barrier run qualification Neda Lasickait\u0117’s <\/strong>result (13.72\/0.5, personal record) was 26th, and Gabija Klimukait\u0117’s <\/strong>(14.27\/-1.3) was 44th. Results.<\/a>
\nIn the high jump qualification, Satera Bal\u010daityt\u0117 <\/strong>took 22nd place (1.73), Evelina Bukauskait\u0117 <\/strong>– 27th place (1.68). Results.<\/a>
\nKasparas Ba\u010dianskas<\/strong>, who threw the javelin 60.85 m (57.90-59.52-60.85), took 20th place in the championship. Results<\/a>.<\/p>\n
