This year, the EMA (European Masters Athletics) is organizing the EMA League series of masters competitions for the first time. The first of the seven events of the series – the Tartu Kevek Open – took place in Tartu on January 18. A large group of Lithuanian craftsmen also took part in them. <\/p>\n
The winners of the competition were Ernesta Kara\u0161kien\u0117<\/strong> (60 m b\/b, 8.27\/9.21), Valda Mork\u016bnien\u0117<\/strong> (shot put, 16.75\/11.91) and Gintautas Misevi\u010dius<\/strong> (hammer, 63.63\/52.25; weight, 19.83\/18.00).<\/p>\n The second places were taken by Dalia Luko\u0161ien\u0117<\/strong> (3000 m, 10:43.71\/11:47.96), Janina Lapienien\u0117<\/strong> (shot put, 16.54\/11.53), Lina Zaniauskien\u0117<\/strong> (height, 1.60\/1.20) and Vytautas Zaniauskas<\/strong> (distance, 7.12\/4.88).<\/p>\n Third were Ernesta Kara\u0161kien\u0117<\/strong> (60 m, 7.96\/8.28), Edita Valiulien\u0117<\/strong> (distance, 5.40\/4.06; triple jump, 11.31\/8.47), Vytautas Zaniauskas<\/strong> (200 m, 21.81\/26.96) and Saulius Svilainis<\/strong> (hammer, 52.53\/40.83).<\/p>\n The next race in the series will take place on February 15 in Nantes (France). <\/p>\n Results (women<\/a>, men<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This year, the EMA (European Masters Athletics) is organizing the EMA League series of masters competitions for the first time.
