On Saturday, the discus throw qualification competition took place in the morning session. All our throwers made it to tomorrow’s final. Martynas Alekna<\/strong> already fulfilled the norm in the first throw – 67.16 m (the best result of the season). Mykolas Alekna’s<\/strong> result was eighth – 65.39 m (65.39 – x – 65.29), Andrius Gud\u017eius<\/strong> – ninth – 65.18 m (65.18 – x – 65.05). Results.<\/a> <\/p>\n

Beatri\u010d\u0117 Ju\u0161kevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117<\/strong> was waiting for the last three events of the heptathlon:

On Friday, the heptathlon competition began. Among the 23 participants – Beatri\u010d\u0117 Ju\u0161kevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117<\/strong>:
\n 100 m hurdles. 13.03\/-0.7, 2nd place, the best result of the Lithuanian season. Results.<\/a>
\nHigh jump. 1.62 (1.56\/1 1.59\/1 1.62\/1 1.65\/xxx), 22nd place, after two games – 19th place. Results.<\/a>

Gabija Galvydyt\u0117<\/strong> finished eighth in the second semi-final run of the 800 m (1:57.96, personal record, best result of the Lithuanian season). She took 12th place in the championship. Results.<\/a><\/p>\n

In the javelin throw qualification competition , Liveta Jasi\u016bnait\u0117 <\/strong>took 20th place – 58.66 m (57.04-58.66-x). Results.<\/a><\/p>\n

On Thursday, in the 6th qualifying run of the 800 m, Gabija Galvydyt\u0117 <\/strong>took the second place (1:58.86) and made it to the semifinals. Results.<\/a><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, two of our athletes competed.<\/p>\n

In Group A of the javelin throw qualification competition, Edis Matusevi\u010dius <\/strong>was seventh among 19 participants – 82.78 m (79.73 – 82.78 – x). After the group B competition, it turned out that Eddie did not manage to make it to the final – among all the participants, his result was thirteenth, only 3 cm separated from the final. In the second 200 m qualifying run , Gediminas Truskauskas <\/strong>finished eighth (20.95\/-0.5) and did not qualify for the semi-finals. Among all participants, his score was 47th. Results.<\/a><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Dovil\u0117 Kilty <\/strong>took 13th place in the triple jump qualification competition – 13.86 m (13.54\/1.1, 13.86\/0.8 x). She was 14 cm short of the final. Results.<\/a><\/p>\n
