Mikly\u010di\u016bt\u0117 once again improved the Lithuanian record"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pole vaulter <strong>Rugil\u0117 Mikly\u010di\u016bt\u0117<\/strong> once again recorded herself in the history of Lithuanian athletics \u2013 on June 27, she took second place in the competition &#8220;Someron Seiv\u00e4skarnevaalit&#8221; in Somer (Finland) and even twice improved her own Lithuanian record (4.45 m), overcoming a height of 4.47 m, and later \u2013 <strong>4.57 m<\/strong> . <\/p>\n<p>Although the 21-year-old athlete has already broken the national records a dozen times, in an interview on the National Sports Agency&#8217;s podcast &#8220;Inspire to Move&#8221; she said that she and coach <strong>Rita Sadzevi\u010dien\u0117<\/strong> will take the records completely seriously only after reaching the 4.50 m mark. So now that limit has been crossed. <\/p>\n<p>By the way, the new record brought R. Mikly\u010di\u016bt\u0117 even closer to her debut European <strong>Championships<\/strong> , which will take place on August 10-16 in Birmingham (United Kingdom) \u2013 the norm of the championships reaches 4.60 m. If this height is not overcome, it is possible to enter the championship according to the ranking, in which R.
