The star of the jumper <strong>Redas \u0160iupis<\/strong> shines brightest. <\/p>\n<p>The 17-year-old Lithuanian completed <strong>2.09 m<\/strong> in the final of the high jump event, improved his personal record by one centimeter, recorded the best result of the Lithuanian season and <strong>took 4th place<\/strong>. The bronze medal was very close \u2013 the German Jan Ungeheuer, who remained in third place, demonstrated the same result as R. \u0160iuipys, but the German needed one less attempt. By the way, Redas also had the opportunity to participate in the triple jump event, but the qualification competition took place just a few hours apart from the high jump final, so it was decided to concentrate on the latter.  <\/p>\n<p>Other results of the Lithuanian representatives:<\/p>\n<p>10th place \u2013 <strong>Darija Matukaityt\u0117<\/strong>, high jump (1.70 m);<\/p>\n<p>10th place \u2013 <strong>Liucija D\u017eiaugyt\u0117<\/strong>, javelin throw (44.76 m);<\/p>\n<p>14th place \u2013 <strong>Samanta Machankovait\u0117<\/strong>, 3000 m (9 min. 53.85 sec.);<\/p>\n<p>14th place \u2013 <strong>Just\u0117 Andrijauskait\u0117<\/strong>, 5000 m athletic walk (24 min. 23.30 sec.);<\/p>\n<p>23rd place \u2013 <strong>Jok\u016bbas Avgustaitis<\/strong>, shot put (16.22 m);<\/p>\n<p>24th place \u2013 <strong>Gert\u0117 \u017di\u010dkut\u0117<\/strong>, triple jump (11.84 m);<\/p>\n<p>28th place \u2013 <strong>Gintar\u0117 Minevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117<\/strong>, discus throw (40.08 m);<\/p>\n<p>33rd place \u2013 <strong>V\u0117tr\u016bn\u0117 Adomavi\u010di\u016bt\u0117<\/strong>, 800 m (2 min. 24.21 sec.);<\/p>\n<p>34th place \u2013 <strong>Simona \u0160lap\u0161inskait\u0117<\/strong>, 400 m (57.18 sec.);<\/p>\n<p>36th place \u2013 <strong>Viktorija Urbelyt\u0117<\/strong>, discus throw (35.33 m).<\/p>\n<p>The next European Junior Championship will take place in Estonia in 2028. <\/p>\n<p><em>Photo.
