In it, the Lithuanian national team, which had been third in the last two championships, this time took second place. Our athletes triumphed in 13 events, set many personal records, and achieved the best Lithuanian seasonal results. For five track and field athletes, this was the last stop before the European Championships taking place in Birmingham (UK).   <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Lithuanian team has 262 points, which is just 15.5 points less than the triumphant Latvian team. The Estonians finished third with 230.5 points. Out of 38 events, Lithuanians won 13 times, took silver 14 times, and bronze 12 times.  <\/p>\n<p>The victories were won by:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ema Rup\u0161yt\u0117<\/strong> \u2013 100 m (11.82 sec);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gabija Klimukait\u0117<\/strong> \u2013 100 m hurdles (13.78 seconds);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lukas \u0160ermuk\u0161nis<\/strong> \u2013 400 m hurdles (51.13 seconds);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egl\u0117 Vaitulevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117<\/strong> \u2013 800 m (2 min 12.16 sec);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simas Berta\u0161ius<\/strong> \u2013 1500 m (3 min 49.09 sec);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giedrius Valin\u010dius<\/strong> \u2013 3000 m (8 min 05.28 sec);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ignas Bitinas<\/strong> \u2013 high jump (2.10 m);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Urt\u0117 K\u0161\u010denavi\u010di\u016bt\u0117<\/strong> \u2013 long jump (6.48 m\/2.2);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diana Zagainova<\/strong> \u2013 triple jump (13.48 m);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Simonas Bakanas<\/strong> \u2013 shot put (17.15 m);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tomas Vasiliauskas<\/strong> \u2013 hammer throw (66.86 m);<\/p>\n<p><strong>Egl\u0117 Baranauskien\u0117<\/strong> \u2013 discus throw (49.82 m);<\/p>\n<p><strong>4&#215;100 m mixed relay<\/strong> \u2013 Gediminas Truskauskas, Lukrecija Sabaityt\u0117, Adas Dambrauskas, Ema Rup\u0161yt\u0117 (41.63 sec).<\/p>\n<p>Gold-adorned S. Berta\u0161ius, D. Zagainova, G. Truskauskas, L. Sabaityt\u0117, and A. Dambrauskas will compete in the European Championship in Birmingham from August 10 to 16.
