In Hesden-Zolder, the WA Continental Tour competition was held, in which only runners competed. In the 5000 m distance, more than 150 runners started in seven runs. One of the runs was won by Giedrius Valinčius, who improved his personal record and the best result of the Lithuanian season – 13 minutes 44.80 seconds. In the overall standings, his result was forty-third.
