On Sunday, the European U23 Athletics Championships finish. The Lithuanians competed in three matches.
In pole vault, Rugilė Miklyčiūtė improved the Lithuanian record and won the silver medal – 4.35 m (3.95/1, 4.10/1, 4.20/3, 4.30/1, 4.35/2, 4.40/xx). Elzė Kudulytė took 9th place – 4.10 m. Lithuanian pole vaulters participated in the European U23 Championships for the first time in history, but it was they (or rather them) who took the two highest places in Bergen. Results.
In the 10000 m athletic walk, Lukas Lasevičius finished 30th (48:53.74), Tauras Jokūbas Grincevičius – 31st (50:23.41). Results.
The women’s 4×100 m relay team (Neda Lasickaitė, Gabija Klimukaitė, Andrė Ožechauskaitė, Ema Rupšytė) was sixth in the qualification race (45.34) and eleventh in the overall standings. Results.
