Lithuanians won three bronze medals in the Games – one each from Kaunas, Klaipėda and Panevėžys.

Youngsters.
100 m. With the best result of the semi-finals, Grant Grinius (11.27/-0.6) entered the A final. Ridas Jančauskas secured a place in the B final (11.97/0.0). Ignas Paulavičius and Arnas Pestrikovas did not finish the semi-final runs. The final runs took place in the evening session: G. Grant did not start in them, and R. Jančauskas did not finish the distance.
Ignas Paulavičius ran in the 400 m in the A final and took 6th place (53.85).
In the 1500, Timur Procenko did not finish the distance in the A final, Gustas Jonauskas finished fifth in the B final (5:15.03).
Far away. Augustas Vaicekauskas took the sixth place (6.16/0.5), Matas Žerlauskas – twelfth (5.57/-1.3).
Globe. Vilius Navickas (Klaipėda) won the bronze medal – 12.60 m.
Juniors.
100 m. In the semi-finals, the best result was recorded by Greta Stalnionytė (12.70/-2.5). Austėja Safonovaitė (13.25/-2.5) and Daniela Fokaitė (13.31/-2.2) made it to the B final. In the evening in the A final G.Stalnionytė was fifth (12.93/-2.0), and in the B final A.Safonovaitė – fifth (13.30/-0.3), D.Fokaitė – sixth (13.35/-0.3).
In the 800 m, Leja Jansonaitė finished first in the B final (2:23.73).
Height. Austė Mackevičiūtė took 6th place (1.55).
Globe. Ugnė Šteinaitė won the bronze medal (11.67).
Spear. Ugnė Šteinaitė (Panevėžys) took 5th place (36.09), and Gabija Venckutė (Klaipėda) was sixth (32.39).
The 4×100 m Kaunas mixed relay team (Ū.Ptakauskaitė, A.Pestrikovas, A.Stragytė, R.Jančauskas) finished sixth in the A final (48.50), while the Šiauliai team did not run in the B final.
Thursday is the last day of the track and field competition.
The 57th International Children’s Games started in Tallinn (in 2017 they were held in Kaunas). Five Lithuanian teams participate in them: Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Panevėžys and Garliava. Junior age group athletes will compete on August 5-7.

100 m. All four of our sprinters qualified for the semi-final races: Grantas Grinius (Šiauliai) 11.49/-0.5 (3rd qualifying result), Arnas Pestrikovas (Kaunas) 11.93/-0.2 (13), Ridas Jančauskas (Kaunas) 11.99/-0.5 (14) and Ignas Paulavičius (Garliava) 12.17/0.2 (17).
400 m. Ignas Paulavičius (Garliava) qualified for the A final with the fourth qualifying result (53.50).
1500 m. Timur Procenko (Klaipėda) will run in the A final on Thursday (4:35.82, 5th place in the qualifiers), and Gustas Jonauskas (Klaipėda) – in the B final (4:59.98, 15th place).
100 m b/b. Gediminas Dirginčius (Klaipėda) took 4th place (14.29/-1.5, 14.38/-0.6 in the qualifier), Danielius Armokas (Panevėžys) – 7th place (15.04/1.5, 15.25/-2.0 in the qualifier).
Height. Augustas Vaicekauskas (Garliava) and Matas Žerlauskas (Šiauliai) fulfilled the qualification standard (1.65) and will participate in the final competition.
Far away. Augustas Vaicekauskas (5.97/0.3, 5th place) and Matas Žerlauskas (5.64/1.5, 11th place) also qualified for the final long jump competition
Juniors.
100 m. Greta Stalnionytė (Klaipėda) 12.50/-0.1 (best qualification result), Daniela Fokaitė (Šiauliai) 13.26/-0.3 (12th place) and Austėja Safonovaitė (Šiauliai) 13.34/-0.3 (13th place) will continue the competition in the semi-finals.
Leja Jansonaitė (Klaipėda) was ninth in the 800 m (2:23.92) and she will run in the B final.
80 m b/b. Augustė Stragytė (Kaunas) won the bronze medal (12.06/-1.4, in the qualification 12.39/-2.2), Estrėja Orlovaitė (Garliava) took the 8th place (13.18/-1.4, in the qualification 12.88/-0.6). The result of Inesa Tamulevičiūtė (Garliava) in the qualification was 17th (14.01/-1.1).
Height. Austė Mackevičiūtė (Panevėžys) was fifth in the qualification (1.50) and in the final of the match.
Far away. Ūla Ptakauskaitė (Kaunas) entered the final competition with the twelfth result (4.84/0.0). Estrėja Orlovaitė (Garliava) took 17th place (4.63/0.0), Inesa Tamulevičiūtė (Garliava) – 18th place (4.62/0.0), and Mėta Rutelytė (Klaipėda) all jumps were unsuccessful.
Globe. Ugnė Šteinaitė (Panevėžys) already fulfilled the qualification norm in the first attempt (10.13) and will compete in the final.
4×100 m mixed relay. The Kaunas team will run in the A final (48.67, 7th place in the qualification), and the Šiauliai team will run in the B final (49.43, 9th place in the qualification).
