On January 6, the Šiauliai Junior and Youth Open Championship took place.
In the 400 m run, Aiva Labanauskaitė achieved the best results of the Lithuanian season in the 400 m (59.55) and 60 m hurdles (9.02), as well as in the 3000 m run Faustė Lukminaitė (11:01.48).
