In the first gold race of this season’s WA indoor tour in Boston, Gabija Galvydytė took sixth place in the 1500 m run and improved the Lithuanian 1500 m short course record – 4 min. 03.44 sec. The previous one (4:05.32), achieved last year also in Boston, was improved by almost two seconds. Gabija also fulfilled the norm of the World Indoor Championship.
The run with the best result of the world season was won by Kenyan runner Dorcus Ewoi (4:01.22).

At the JD Martin Invitational in Norman, Olivija Vaitaitytė jumped 5.70 m in the long jump and pushed the ball 12.35 m.
At the Liberty Open in Lynchburg, Greta Urbonavičiūtė’s results were as follows: 60 m bb – 9.56, height – 1.56, distance – 5.16.
In the Albuquerque “Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. Invite” competition, Matas Mikulėnas pushed the ball 16.65 m, improved his personal record and took fifth place.
