The 58th International Children’s Games concluded in Hualien (Taiwan). The Kaunas team that participated included four track and field athletes.

Rokas Kesylis threw the 5 kg shot put 10.70 m and took fifth place.

Tėja Valiukevičiūtė placed seventh in the high jump – both in the heats and in the final, her result was 1.50 m.

Ridas Jančiauskas took 14th place in the 100 m run. He finished third in the qualifying heat (11.76/-3.2), and sixth in the semifinals (11.65/-1.7).

Ema Venskutytė was twentieth in the long jump (4.02).

Together, they competed in the mixed 4×100 m relay, where they placed 13th (50.41).
