The sports community stands in solidarity with the cultural sector and invites you to join the final rally “What kind of state do we want?” of the month of protest “We are culture” on November 21 in Vilnius.
We, as well as cultural professionals, are hurting – at the moment, hasty changes are being initiated in the sports sector, which have not been discussed with the community, aimed at fundamentally reorganizing the sports financing and management model.
We are convinced that decisions that affect the future of sport must be taken responsibly, publicly and with the involvement of all stakeholders. So let’s come and together express our civic position on transparent, responsible and inclusive state governance.
The rally is planned to be attended by the country’s most famous athletes (Airinė Palšytė, Rūta Meilutytė, Danas Rapšys, Kotryna Teterevkova, Dainius Novickas, Viktorija Andrulytė), as well as coaches, representatives of federations and other people who love and support sports (and, of course, culture).
