This decision was taken care of by CONICA AG, theleading Swiss manufacturer of indoor and outdoor sports surfaces in the world, which developed a UV-resistant structural spray coat last September, which opened up an unlimited choice of coating colours. Although in the past it was possible to choose not only red, gray or green colors, the company’s sales manager for European markets Saulius Sėjūnas explains that several layers were needed to prevent the coating from turning yellow from the sun. This extended the duration of the works and increased the cost of the project.

S. Sėjūnas adds that he is happy that Pakruojis has decided to take a bold step and has become the first city in the world to choose the new material.
