On May 28, the traditional World Athletics project “Kids’ Athletics” sports festival for students of grades 1-4 took place at Vilnius Baltupiai Progymnasium. The event was attended by more than 400 children, their parents and teachers, all of whom were actively involved in various sports activities, relays and team tasks.

In the form of games and entertainment, the children got acquainted with athletics competitions – from running to javelin throwing, developed the skills of speed, dexterity, coordination and teamwork. According to the organizers, this event aims to promote physical activity, community spirit and the joy of moving together. It is expected that this will encourage children to choose an active lifestyle and enjoy sports in the future.
