June 9-10 The international competition of the “Sūduva” Cup took place in Marijampolė.
The best results of the season in Lithuania were recorded in two matches. Vesta Marmaitė and Evelina Bukauskaitė from Kaunas jumped the bar at a height of 1.79 m. Algirdas Strelčiūnas (Pasvalys/Kaunas) jumped 7.43 m.
Junior 800 m winner Marius Kulbokas (Trakai) improved the Lithuanian 13-year-old record – 2 min. 04.22 sec.
