On Sunday, 331 runners completed the main distance in the Kaunas Marathon. The winner was Modestas Dirsė – 2:28:30, the second was the Ukrainian Vitaly Kuznetsov (2:30:11), the third – the Dutchman Ivan Kaminga (2:35:11). Among women, the fastest was Gitana Akmanavičiūtė , who improved her personal record – 2:50:34 (2.Zita Kosač – 2:54:43, 3. Viktorija Kalvelytė – 3:11:33).
In other races, the winners were:
Half marathon. Andrius Preibys (1:13:02) and Estonian Laura Maasik (1:16:59).
10 km. Povilas Pečiukonis (35:20) and Vaida Žūsinaitė-Nekriošienė (35:20).
5 km. Jonas Beleška (16:52) and Vilmantė Stašauskaitė (18:23).
