On Sunday, Giedrius Valinčius won the 10 km run in the Singapore Marathon – 30 min. 05 sec. He surpassed his nearest rival, and there were over 5000 of them, by almost three minutes.
9 runners from Lithuania started in Singapore. Places in the first hundred were taken by Audrius Derbutas (half marathon, 48th place, 1:28:19) and Antanas Anskaitis (10 km, 94th place, 44:21).
