A group of Lithuanian runners took part in the bronze competition of the WA Continental Tour in Brussels over the weekend.
On Saturday, in the 400 m run, Simona Šlapšinskaitė took 4th place in the junior group (56.92, personal record), in the youth group Viltė Bubinaitė was 16th (1:00.16), and Elinga Semeniuk – 17th (1:01.28).
In the 800 m run, Vėtrūnė Adomavičiūtė took 21st place among juniors (2:24.23). Saulius Racevičius’ time in the youth group is 45th (1:58.38, the best result of the Lithuanian season).
Late in the evening, Simas Bertašius improved his personal record in the first 5000 m run and took 13th place (13:34.06).
On Sunday, Simas Bertašius finished 14th in the strongest (first) 1500 m run (3:47.18, the best result of the Lithuanian season).
Auksė Linkutė spent 10 minutes 26.37 seconds in the 3000 m hurdles race. (the best result of the season in Lithuania). She was sixth in her run, her time was 22nd among all participants.
