The Lithuanian Athletics Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Federation or the Data Controller) respects your privacy and undertakes to protect your personal data. This Privacy Policy regulates how the Federation processes the personal data of visitors and customers when they visit the https://lengvoji.lt/ website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) and use the content and services provided by us.
When processing personal data, we strictly follow the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania (ADTAĮ) and other legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania and the European Union.

2. Data collected and the lawful basis for their processing
We collect and process only those personal data about you that are necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the Federation and a high-quality user experience on the Website. Data processing is based on the following legal bases:
- Your consent: When you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter, submit a request in the contact forms or actively accept optional cookies.
- Legitimate interest: Ensuring the functionality of the Website, maintaining cyber security and stability, analysing attendance statistics and publicising the activities of the Federation.
- Legal obligation: When we are obliged to process data by the applicable legislation of the Republic of Lithuania (for example, for the purposes of organizing sports events or financial reporting).

Personal data on the Website is used for the following purposes:
- For request processing and communication: To respond to your questions by email or through forms and to provide the necessary information.
- For dissemination of information and direct marketing: If you have given your consent – to send the Federation’s news, announcements about competitions, projects or events.
- For Website Performance Optimization and Analytics: To evaluate visitor traffic and behavior on the Site in order to improve its content and technical layout.

The Federation retains personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or for as long as we are obliged by law:
- Enquiry and correspondence data: Stored for 3 (three) years from the date of the last contact.
- Direct marketing (newsletter) data: Processed until you withdraw your consent (unsubscribe). You can withdraw your consent by clicking on the link at the bottom of each newsletter or by contacting us by email.
- Cookie Information: The expiration dates of cookies depend on their type (session cookies are deleted immediately after you close your browser, and persistent cookies are stored according to the specific terms specified in the Compliannz Cookie Policy).
After the expiry of the storage period, all data is permanently deleted or completely anonymized.

Your personal data will not be sold, exchanged or otherwise unlawfully transferred to third parties. We may only share data with trusted service providers (data processors) to the extent necessary to maintain the functioning of the Website:
