29 November this year A reporting conference of the Lithuanian Sports Walking Association was held in Alytus, bringing together coaches, judges, former athletes and friends from all over Lithuania. We started the conference by honoring the members of the community who left Anapilin and awarding the best athletes and coaches of 2025, congratulating the anniversaries. Gratitude was also given to the bronze medalist of the European Athletics Championships Brigita Virbalytė-Dimšienė and Artūras Mastianica, who has finished an active sports career.
During the conference, we listened to reports, discussed the experience of organizing the 51st International Sports Walking Festival Alytus-2025, amendments to the statutes and preparations for the upcoming 52nd festival. During the discussions, we also dealt with other important issues.
We thank everyone who contributed to the organization of the event, during which there was not only a working atmosphere, but also a good mood and a sense of community.
