At the Baltic Athletics Junior Team Championship (Veru, July 21), our walkers scored 17 points for the national team, Latvians – 11 points, and Estonians only 4.

The competition was held in the 5000 m distance. Our guys had no opponents. The winner was Libertas Kulieša (21:41.52), who beat Bassama Al Bakri (25:42.85).

The fastest among the girls was the Latvian Karīna Nikulina (25:46.24). Ema Olišauskaitė took the third place (27:24.45), and Emilija Krušaitė – fifth (31:18.55).
