Everyone has the right to participate in sport without coercion, harassment or abuse and to be treated with respect and dignity.

Creating a safe and welcoming environment where everyone is respected and valued is one of the most important things in modern sport. The aim is to ensure the protection and safety of all those involved in athletics, regardless of their origin, age, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation, whether they are athletes, officials, managers, employees, volunteers, partners or contractors.

The Lithuanian Athletics Federation, in accordance with the recommendations of international associations, adheres to the norms of the principle of protection of the individual in athletics, which are in line with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, has developed and approved rules for the prevention of harassment, sexual harassment and violence, as well as policy documents on harassment and violence.
