The World Championship is over. Saulius Svilainis won his fourth medal on Sunday: this time he is considering silver in the throw – 16.59 m. Results.

The Lithuanians return home having won six medals – 1 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.

On Saturday, the penultimate day of the championship, Saulius Svilainis (V65) won the third medal in this championship – this time he hammered bronze in the throw – 45.21 m. Results.

Genovaitė Kazlauskienė (M75) became the world champion in the shot put – 10.67 m. Results.

On Friday, Alvydas Dzemionas (V60) threw the javelin in 31.59 m and took 13th place. Results.

On Thursday, Saulius Svilainis (V65) won the second silver medal by throwing the discus in 45.52 m. This is his fifth medal in the discus throw and his tenth in all throws since 2008. Results.

Genovaitė Kazlauskienė (M75) won the silver medal in the weightlifting – 14.11 m. Results.

Ingrida Urbutienė (M50) took 10th place in the shot put (10.63). Results.

The World Masters Indoor Athletics Championships are held in Florida. Among its participants are four Lithuanian track and field athletes, all throwers.

The first of them was Saulius Svilainis (V65 age group). On Tuesday, he won the silver medal in the shot put – 13.25. In 2017 and 2019, he had won bronze medals in this event. Results.
