On Saturday, 24 Lithuanian athletes competed in the fifth stage of the LVS x Sportland Cup in Riga. They competed in fourteen competitions, winning eight of them.
The best result of the competition and the Lithuanian season in the long jump was recorded by Marius Vadeikis , who improved his personal record – 7.90 m (7.49/0.5 – 7.53/0.2 – 7.90/0.9 – 7.50/1.1 – 7.76/-0.1 – 7.79/1.5). Two events were won by Akvilė Jonauskytė (60 m – 7.51/1.4, personal record and 100 m – 11.73/1.0, personal record) and Kristupas Seikauskas (60 m – 6.87/1.7 and 100 m – 10.67/1.8). The record of this competition in the 60 m hurdles was improved by Gabija Klimukaitė – 8.55/1.2 seconds. Eglė Vaitulevičiūtė was the fastest in the 800 m run (2:12.92), and Nedas Talalas was the fastest in the 300 m hurdles (37.73).
