On Wednesday, three Lithuanian runners started in the race in Leuvain-la-Neuve (Belgium).
In the 3000 m run, Simas Bertašius became the winner and improved the Lithuanian record that belonged to Aleksandr Antipovas since 1978 – 7 minutes 52.73 seconds. Giedrius Valinčius finished eleventh (8:15.63).
Džiugas Balčiūnas won one of the 800 m runs, improved his personal record and took the final 26th place (1:57.25).
