The National Sports Agency invites you to register for the seminar “Sports Injuries: From Testing to Training Planning” for coaches and physiotherapists, which will take place on March 23 at 1:00 p.m. and will last 3 hours. The venue of the event is Studentų str. 63A, Kaunas (M-Lab).
The seminar will be led by Dr. Joseph Janosky, Professor at Lassell University (Boston, USA), head of the United States Public Health Association and the National Youth Sports Council.
The seminar consists of theoretical and practical parts aimed at better understanding the assessment of athletes’ health and injury prevention in the sports environment.
During the seminar, the following will be discussed:

how to assess the health of athletes more effectively based on the principles of sports science;

what are the main risk factors for the occurrence of sports injuries;

how to collect and analyze athletes’ data;

how to develop practical injury prevention plans that can be applied in daily training activities.
