February 18-19 Kaunas Open Adult and Youth Championship and Lithuanian Student Winter Championship took place in Kaunas.
On the first day of the competition, the best results of the Lithuanian season were recorded by Urtė Kščenavičiūtė (distance, 6.29), Lukas Šermukšnis (400 m, 47.61) and Algirdas Strelčiūnas (distance, 7.62), and repeated by Vesta Marmaitė (height, 1.76).
In the 1500 m run, Matas Kulbokas (Trakai) improved the Lithuanian 13-year-old 1500 m short track record recorded in 1980 (4:39.76), but a few minutes later Aronas Januška ran even faster in the Šiauliai championship (4:36.63).
On Thursday, the best result of the Lithuanian season in the triple jump was achieved by Rimvydas Augys (14.76).

The first three places among the teams were taken by VU (16537), VMU (16174) and LSU (15428).
