In La Specia (Italy) on Saturday, the runners compete in the 10000 m running European Cup, including two representatives of Lithuania.
Vaida Žūsinaitė-Nekriošienė, who improved her personal record, was ninth among 23 runners in the women’s B final (34:33.00). Among all 53 participants, her time was 37th.
In the men’s A final , Giedrius Valinčius finished 13th – 28 min. 44.68 sec. He improved his personal record, and rose from 10th place to sixth place in the all-time Lithuanian lists. In the overall standings among 54 participants, he remained thirteenth, because he ran faster than all the runners of the B final.
