On Sunday, at the “Carnikava Nėgė Cup” competition in Carnikava (Latvia), Nikodemas Laurynas won the first place in pole vault – 5.25 m (4.82/2-4.92/1-5.02/1-5.12/3-5.25/2-5.35/xxx), improved the Lithuanian U23 record, achieved the best result of the Lithuanian season and the second result of Lithuanian jumpers in the entire history, fulfilled the norm of the European U23 Championship on the last day.

Four of our long jumpers also competed in Carnikava. Artūras Raklevičius took the second place (7.09/0.5), Laurynas Vičas – third (6.85/0.0), Dovydas Pinas – fourth (6.58/0.0), among women Gintarė Marija Balčiūtė was fourth (5.59/2.0).
