The European U23 Championship has a large team of track and field athletes

On July 17-20, the 15th European U23 Athletics Championships will take place in Bergen (Norway), with more than 1200 athletes from 44 countries participating. The starting lists include 18 Lithuanians, who will appear on the international stage and compete in as many as 14 different competitions. Among the Lithuanian representatives are 3 national record holders: Adas Dambrauskas (60 m and 4×100 m), Lukas Sutkus (4×400 m) and Rugilė Miklyčiūtė (pole vault).

All Lithuanian representatives at the European Championships: Ema Rupšytė (100 m, 4×100 m), Andrė Ožechauskaitė (100 m, 4×100 m), Ema Sarafinaitė (400 m, 4×100 m), Karolina Bliujūtė (10000 m), Gabija Klimukaitė (100 m hurdles, 4×100 m), Neda Lasickaitė (100 m hurdles, 4×100 m), Satera Balčaitytė (high jump), Evelina Bukauskaitė (high jump), Rugilė Miklyčiūtė (pole vault), Elzė Kudulytė (pole vault), Paulina Stuglytė (discus throw), Adas Dambrauskas (100 m), Lukas Sutkus (400 m), Tauras Jokūbas Grincevičius (10000 m athletic walking), Lukas Lasevičius (10000 m athletic walking), Ignas Bitinas (high jump), Nikodemas Laurynas (pole vault), Kasparas Bačianskas (javelin throw).

In 2023, the European U23 Championship was held in Espe (Finland). 8 Lithuanians took part in it, and the best performances were discus thrower Mykolas Alekna (1st place), 3000 m hurdles representative Greta Karinauskaitė (2nd place) and sprinter Tomas Keršulis (8th place). In total, Lithuanians have won 6 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals in the history of these championships.
