On September 6 in Klaipėda, walkers competed in the Baltic Open Athletics Masters Championship in the 3000 m distance.
Among the participants (9 women and 13 men) there were only three Lithuanians. All of them became winners in their age groups: Antanas Grigaliūnas (V60) 15:49.87, Romas Miškinis (V65) 17:00.40 and Tadeusz Songin (V70) 24:26.77.
After recounting the results by age, Antanas Grigaliūnas (13:06.30) and Latvian Modra Liepina (14:08.98) performed best in the championship.
