Good news on the eve of the Lithuanian Athletics Championships – LLAF and the Lithuanian gas station chain Emsi have signed a cooperation agreement, according to which Emsi becomes the official 2026 Athletics Championships. Lithuanian championship partner.

The company will allocate EUR 14 thousand. financial support for fourteen athletes – seven men’s and seven women’s Lithuanian champions. The winner of each selected event will receive 1 thousand. euros.

The representatives of the Federation say that they are very happy about this new partnership: “This friendship is a significant contribution to the development of athletics throughout Lithuania and the promotion of high-performance athletes. It is gratifying that the business notices the achievements of athletes, victories in national and international tournaments and is determined to contribute to even higher results.”

Emsi representatives add that the joy is mutual – it is important for business to be socially responsible and contribute to the promotion of talented athletes so that they know that they are seen, monitored and supported.

The championship will take place on July 24-26. Palanga Stadium (Sporto St. 3). The competition will be broadcast on LRT television and the portal LRT.lt for all three days.
