On March 11, after the qualification for the World Indoor Championships ended, it became clear that Lithuania would be represented by two athletes – runner Gabija Galvydytė and multi-athlete Beatričė Juškevičiūtė.

G. Galvydytė fulfilled two standards – 800 and 1500 m, but due to the intense schedule of the championship, it was decided to compete only in the 1500 m distance.

Meanwhile, B. Juškevičiūtė entered the championships in the pentathlon competition according to the ranking number 9.

The World Indoor Championship will take place on March 20-22 in Toruń (Poland) and will be broadcast live on LRT.
